It’s Good 2 Give offers support to young people with cancer and their families in their time of need. In this class we will draw the view of Loch Venachar from the Ripple Retreat -a place for young cancer patients in Scotland and their families, where they can unwind during the most challenging of times, at home in our soothing natural surroundings.
There are lots of activities happening over the weekend - find out more here

-Art activates the reward center of your brain
-It lowers stress
-It lets you focus deeply
-It helps you to process your emotions
There are TWO RULES
There's no right or wrong here, and no 'good' or 'bad' drawing. Focus on the process of drawing and not how you want the drawing to end up. Think about the how you move the pencil or pen on the paper; enjoy the way you use it to make marks. The drawing that appears at the end is a beautiful record of what you saw in that 20 minute period.
Don't try to copy my drawing exactly. I'll talk you through what I'm doing and so listen along and feel free to glance up, but draw along with me, creating your own version, in your own way. Work at your own pace and if you finish before me then just skip to the last part.
Anyone can do this - age 5 to 105! No prior drawing experience is required, you can take part even if you haven't drawn anything for years or are totally new to drawing.
